The National Pool

I released an Ambient album titled "Baltimore" via Bandcamp in April 2016 and it'll be in iTunes and Spotify soon. I've also created a YouTube playlist as well for the album.

I used virtual synths, guitars through vocoders, mics out the window, Generative 2 by Siren Audio, a Fostex X-55, and Native Instruments Maschine as the basis for most of the songs, and then did the fine tuning in Pro Tools and Ozone.

Here's another cover of one my all-time favorite tunes, Tracy Bonham's "Kisses". Out of all of the songs on The Burdens of Being Upright, I was always really drawn to this song. I recorded this one back in January of 2016 and I'm finally getting around to posting it here. Tracy was also nice enough to say some very kind words about it on Twitter! You can follow her @tracy_bonham.

For the recording, I used a Fostex X-55 for the instrumentation which I what I used in High School to record. In this case, I slowed down the guitars and did the vocals normally in Pro Tools.

It's been awhile since I've made any posts here. I'm just more into making music than keeping this site updated. However, I'll be posting more in the future.

In April 2016 I did a cover of one my favorite songs, "Crossing" by Taj Mahal. Enjoy.

My best friends had a band awhile back called Magick Bullet Theory and they made a great record that kind of Grunge / Blues / Chaos. It's got a great off-the-cuff style to it. I'm happy to announce that I'm helping them release it and it's not available in iTunes worldwide + everywhere.

Preview the tracks on SoundCloud and buy them if you dig it.

I haven't updated this site much since I've been quite busy with a number of projects, but I wanted to post about a new single "Scars". The song features Kyle on bass and keys. You can pick it up in iTunes here. Enjoy.

Thanks to the good people at Tune Society for featuring my production music company, Blue Palm Music, as the artist of the month for July. Check it out here.

I'm very happy to announce the release of my latest single "Light the Way", which couldn't have come together without the help of the following people:

First, I'd like to give a huge thank you to Mihoko Ogaki (www.mihoko-ogaki.com) for graciously allowing me to use her amazing work as the album cover. Please visit her site and check out one of shows if you're in the area. Another thank you to Kirby Matherne for providing the album cover layout (www.kirbymatherne.com).

Big thanks also goes out to Kenneth Mount and ZK Productions for mixing the song and turning it into something bigger than I could have imagined, Michael Fossenkemper at Turtle Tone Studios for mastering, and to Leslie for providing sample clearance.

I hope you enjoy the song. There's a lot more music to follow soon.
